Moo-Moo Babies

I guess Moo-Moo year is a great year although bad economic and political situation. So many news of Moo-Moo babies one after another. I also one of the Moo-Moo mom, my baby Moo-Moo will be arriving in June.

Early of the morning, received a very good sms from someone who close to me. He was sharing the news of getting a Moo-Moo baby in October. I feel extremely happy and excited for them. Especially they had tried years to get a baby. What's a good news in the morning cheer-up the day.

Then later in the noon, my best friend sms me and told me her little boy arrived safely early of the morning ;) ;) ;) This is her 2nd child. Everytime during her labor, she is making the statement no more baby then. But later looking at the adorable baby, she will forget everything and only remember during labor. Kakakaka...

P/S: Welcome all the Moo-Moo babies!

Muffins Baking

Last weekend I bought some cooking books. One of the book is cupcakes and muffins. Then mom told me that she would like to try some muffins.
Since hubby is going for photographer class over the weekend, thus I decided to use the free time to make some muffins for mom & in-laws.
The costs of making muffins are low, I spent less than MYR15 to make the following:
10 nos. big chocolate muffins
10 nos. small chocolate muffins
25 nos. small chocolate chips muffins
10 nos. small mixed fruits muffins
10 nos. small corn flake muffins
06 nos. small nuts muffins
To pack these muffins as gifts, I put them into nice packaging. Personally I think foods alway are a pacakage = Taste + Outlook + Packaging. A simple plastic bag with a colour ribbon is enough to light up the gift.

Macaron Baking Class

Today I went for a macaron baking class at Big Boys Oven. The teacher called Sunny and has a partner called Sid. English, Mandarin and Cantonese were used in the class. So, you wouldn't have any languages problem at all.

It is a great session! There were only five students in the class. Surprised me was there was 1 to 1 hand on session for the amount of fees paid. Each of us make a favour of macaron. And the end of the class, each of us got to bring home a box of macaron made by ourself and exchange some other favours with other students.

My macaron is black seaseme favour with durian filing. The result wasn't good as I had over beaten the white egg. During the heating session, the macaron has cracked ;( Sob, sob, sob. I told myself, imprefection is a type of beauty as well to comfort my own feeling.
P/S:
Sunny and Sid were great host! They even served us with different type of macaron, cakes and cupcakes for tea break! Yummy, yummy, yummy ;) If you are interested, you may find more information about Big Boys Oven at

Pig's Nose Octopus

A friend opened a food stall called Octopus Grilled. The stall sells variety of grilled foods. The chef called 'Octopus". Thus, I made a pig's nose Octopus for her business opening.

She asked me why pig's nose? In Chinese believe, pig is the wealth symbol for business - "Chu Loong Yap Sui". Beside, it is more cartoon feel with the pig's nose instead of the octopus's nose. See catch people attention ;D

Anyway, wishing her all the best for new venture of business!

KungFu Panda

Sometime ago there cartoon movie called KungFu Panda. Many kids like the show and there were many character toys in marketing. So I also decided to join - to make a light paperclay KungFu Panda.

I alway prefer the normal clay but no harm trying something new. So I bought a pack and started to make the panda.
Light clay is really light. Light till I can't feel the weight ;) Another different is colour. Many light clay itself has a solid colour. And colour use on the white light clay are oil or acrylic colours. You can either apply a layer of protection or not because the colours itself already served as protection.

After trying the light clay, I still prefer the normal type althought it is more delicate and special skills and techniques required. I guess sometimes you just have your preference ;)

About ME...

Many of my friends are telling me about 'BLOG' and how much fun is it. So I decided to start one for funny.

Ops, I haven't introduce myself to you ;) I'm have a lovely husband going to be mommy soon. When I am good, I am like a kitten. When I am bad, I am like a tiger ;) That's me.

People who first meet me, they don't believe I am in numeric industry because my talkative and active characters. More like a sales or sales support personnel. To me a job is a job. It has nothing to do with character ;p

I like crafting. And tried many type of crafting. Like glass painting, cloth painting, batik, paper clay, ceramics, card making, sewing, stencil, gift wrapping and etc…. Many also asked why not I start my own business. I told them, to start a crafting business is not as easy as seen. If it is so easy, I already start it like 8 years ago. It is ideal to have your career same as your hobby but it is never be easy.

In this blog, I will share more on my handiwork…
